About

I guess this page should be about me. So I guess I’ll tell my tale….
I grew up in Carroll County, Maryland and now reside in Howard County. I have played the Alto Saxophone from the time I was in 3rd grade, and still occasionally play (from time to time). I was in the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) and achieved Eagle Scout in February of 2001.
I volunteered at my local fire department and got my EMT-Basic, Firefighter I, HazMat Operations, and Emergency Vehicle Operators Course (EVOC). I left for college at University of Maryland - Baltimore County (UMBC) where I have been studying Emergency Health Services - Systems Management (EHS Management). I’m currently planning on finishing this August and looking forward to paying back my student loans.
I worked for a few years, and still do part-time, for LifeStar Response of Maryland as an EMT-B and Driver. I worked at first as a tech only (patient care) and then when I turned 21 I started driving ambulances as well. I then went to work for the Johns Hopkins Transport Team for a couple years.
About a year and a half ago I was offered a PHP Web Development job by a friend on a forum which I took and have been working with ever since. It’s a good beat. I enjoy the work, and it challenges me. Plus, it’s nice to work from the house. Saves $$ because I’m not shelling out 1/2 my paycheck to pay for gas to get to work.
That’s pretty much it. Nothing more to say on me for the moment. As the years pass, I guess I’ll update this page.
