Apparently writers at the NY Times don’t do a whole lot of research into their articles before they speak.  If they had, then perhaps Nick Bilton would have noticed that HTML 5 isn’t a video format, rather, it’s a textual markup language that enables the developer to show video without the use of the Adobe Flash player.
